MCP & Skill

Bailian CLI command reference for orchestrating MCP services and managing the skill registry.

Orchestrate MCP services and manage the skill registry from the terminal: list active MCP servers, inspect and invoke tools, register Bailian MCP servers into Agent native configurations, and install, update, and remove skills.
MCP capabilities are currently available only to China site (aliyun.com) accounts.
Append --help to any command for full parameter details, e.g. bl mcp call --help.

MCP orchestration

See the MCP services for feature-page usage.
  • bl mcp list: List MCP servers activated under your Bailian account, filterable by name
  • bl mcp tools: List tools exposed by a specific MCP server
  • bl mcp call: Invoke any tool on an MCP server directly
bl mcp call --target <server-name>.<tool-name> --json '{"query":"weather in Beijing"}'

Native Agent registration

  • bl mcp connect: Register a Bailian MCP server in an Agent's native configuration. --server specifies the server, --transport selects streamable-http or SSE, and --agent targets one Agent (Codex, Claude Code, Cursor, Qoder, Qwen Code, Gemini, OpenCode, and more) or all; non-CLI-managed entries are never overwritten
  • bl mcp disconnect: Remove an MCP registration previously managed by the CLI; registrations changed after connect are left untouched and reported as conflicts
bl mcp connect --server TextGenerateImage --transport streamable-http --agent cursor

Skill management

See the Skill for feature-page usage.
  • bl skill init: Install all bailian-* skills in one step, ideal for setting up a new environment
  • bl skill add: Install skills from the Bailian skill registry into local agents
  • bl skill list: List registry skills and diff against local installs
  • bl skill update: Update installed skills to the latest registry versions
  • bl skill remove: Remove locally installed skills; the registry is untouched
