This guide explains how to use the end node .
Node UI
- In the left-side navigation pane of Alibaba Cloud Model Studio (Bailian), choose Application Center > Component > Process Management.
- On the Process Management page, click New Flow. On the process orchestration page, you can drag and drop nodes to the canvas on the right to build your process. The node panel on the left of the process editor contains Basic Nodes (start node, end node, condition node), Model Nodes (LLM node), Reference Nodes (API calling node), and Function Programming Nodes (script node, Function Compute node). On the canvas, you can configure each node. For example, you can use a script node to write a Python script to retrieve a JSON string from an LLM output using
svcVars, parse its fields, and then construct a reply. The Reply Content of an end node can then use an expression like${svcVars.<script_node_ID>.response.scriptResult}to use the script's returned value as the final reply.
Node
An end node marks the termination of a process path. A process can have multiple end nodes, which is common in workflows with multiple branches. You must configure the return parameter structure for each end node individually.
Configuration page
In the Reply Content field of the end node, enter an expression like The result of your query is: ${svcVars.Api_Zz1xzf.response}. This expression uses a variable to reference the response from a preceding API node and includes it in the final reply.
See Process variable meanings and value retrieval methods for details on how to reference values.
Configuration
You can configure multiple return parameters for an end node. By default, the svcVars parameter is configured to return a map containing the execution results of all nodes. The Expression field defines the logic for retrieving the output parameter's value. In this field, you can enter an expression like svcVars.xxx. The Parameter field specifies the name of the output parameter. The Parameter Description field lets you add an explanatory note for the parameter.
