Task Records

Use task records to find a specific Parse or Extract run, confirm its status, verify the settings used, and reopen the results.

After a Parse (document parsing) or Extract (field extraction) task is submitted successfully, a task record is generated. Task records let you find a specific run, confirm its status, verify the settings used at the time, and reopen the results.

Before you start

  • You have submitted a parsing or extraction task.
  • Have the complete task ID ready, or note the approximate submission date and the capability used.
  • Log in to the ParseX console and go to "Task Records" in the left sidebar.

Find a specific run

  1. Narrow the search by date. Note: for privacy and security reasons, only historical tasks from the last 7 days are currently retained.
  2. Select the capability and task status as needed.
  3. If you have the task ID, paste the complete ID into the "Task ID" search box and press Enter to search.
  4. Verify the file name, capability, and time, then open the details of the target task.
Running the same file multiple times produces different tasks. After confirming the task ID, check the results of that specific run to avoid confusing runs from different times.

When comparing historical results, compare the settings used by each of the two tasks. Editing the current configuration does not mean historical tasks also used the new settings. For the relationship between the two, see Save and Reuse Configurations.

Return to the results page

  1. In the target task details, confirm the task and its status.
  2. Click "Go to playground to view results".
  3. View the source content and results in the Parse or Extract workbench that opens.
